Arcalumis – Tom Rodgers
Tom Rodgers is an artist who works with photography, book design, moving image and writing. Arcalumis is a two-part exploration of the abstract nature of photography. Images are taken from a range of projects within the artist’s archive and so have no pre-existing relationship nor determined meaning. The resultant arrangements are intended to generate a potential for personal interpretation and meaning arising from the particularities of photographic recognition. Launched November 2016, this beautiful set of two photobooks has been bought for the Artist Book collections at the V&A and at Winchester School of Art.
